San Diego Pet Memorial launches new look

San Diego, CA, August 15th, 2009-San Diego Pet Memorial Park, San Diego’s premier pet memorial location since 1962, is making its presence known, online and on camera: Today the Park announced several new initiatives that include the debut of a television commercial, an interactive website, and a social media campaign.
“We are so excited to showcase our new look to the San Diego community,” exclaimed Roman Bulvarela, Manager of the San Diego Pet Memorial Park. “For us, it was definitely time to create a strong presence online with a stunning website, videos, and social media so that we could better connect with pet lovers.”
San Diego Pet Memorial Park now has Twitter and Facebook pages, as well as a flash website, designed by Appeal Media, that showcases an online store, news from the staff, and pet resources. A professional 30-second commercial is currently viewable on a number of video platforms, such as YouTube and Veoh and airs Time Warner’s Cable Channel’s, TLC, Bravo, HGTV, MSNBC, and more.
Bulvarela adds, “We’ve been fortunate to have a great presence in San Diego and now hope to further establish our name and mission throughout the region.”

The San Diego Pet Memorial Park is a sanctuary honoring not only cherished animals at the end of their lives, but to the grieving owners who have loved them. This living memorial is nestled in Carroll Canyon under a canopy of ancient live oak trees. While other facilities simply provide crematory services, the San Diego Pet Memorial Park is so much more. As our name implies, the park setting offers an inviting, serene location to keep the memory of your animal friend alive.

Celebrating The Life Of Your Pet - Date (08-18-10)
In June my beloved companion animal, my eleven year old calico cat Angel, made her transition. She had experienced Feline Lycemia on and off for many of her years and finally succumbed to diabeties. Inspite of her physcial condition, she loved life and was always so loving and giving. Knowing her passing was imminent it gave me time to reflect on our Life Journey together. I talked with her about how we had found each other and all the fun experiences we had had together and how she had so touched and opened my Heart every day, teaching me, in her own sweet way, many beautiful Life lessons.
The journey we take with our animal companions is, I know, so special to all of us.
I decided that when I buried her at our Park I would take that day to Celebrate her Life' I knew I would shed many tears, but held the Intention to also bring much joy and laughter into my Heart as I celebrated the short but amazing sweet Life of this so beloved animal. The wonderful Staff here at the Park prepared our little chaple so beautifully with candles and flowers for me, and I also brought my own flowers, cuttings from our garden she loved so much, a disc player for music and memory pieces she and I cherished together. Abe a long and loyal member of our Staff had prepared her so lovingly in her casket. She looked beautiful, peaceful and serene. as she lay In our wonder little Chaple. I then proceeded to Celebrate Her Life with words, laughter and tears, music, readings and prayer. Our special time together. It was an enormous priviledge for me to have shared part of my Life Journey with this amazing animal I loved so dearly. That Love will never die. I miss her so deeply each day but those same memories of her also put a smile on my face each day.
Her passing gave me time to reflect again on our statement "San Diego Pet Memorial Park, The Healing Place" and the unique and priviledged opportunity we hold to help heal Hearts from a beloved companion animal's passing. So We at San Diego Pet Memorial Park are holding a FREE event at the Park, our gift to you, held monthly on a Saturday afternoon called "Celebrating The Life Of Your Pet". We are inviting not only everyone who has recently lost a pet, but everyone who loves or has ever loved an animal is invited to attend. These events will be facilitated by Laurie Anderson.

We are honored to be associated with the Humane Society, so also as our gift to you we include with each Burial and Cremation a free group session on Grief Loss held by and at The Humane Society. We are here solely to Serve, Heal and Honor both you and your beloved pets.
To Serve you at the highest level possible, to help Heal your hearts over the loss of your beloved pets, and to Honor the bond you have created during your life journey together.
This special bond will never end but go on in your hearts forever.
Your quest for knowledge about our park gives us the opportunity to get to know you better. We have many links which give you the chance to share stories, concerns, prayers and just chats with your fellow pet lovers. This connecting brings all our animal community closer together.
It is this joint Love of Animals we all feel, and the joys, lessons and great companionship they bring to all our lives that we dedicate our Memorial Park to. None of which would be possible without You and the animals we all cherish.
